- Different names, terminology and concepts used for realising maqasid by different scholars – including maslahah, istihsan, Urf, Qiyas ('illah & hikmah) istislah, Sadd al-dharai, etc.
- Tools of Ijtihad
- What is Hadith Mutawatir and Hadith Ahad
- Authoritative Hierarchy and Methodology of Ijtihad by various Mazhab
- Maxim or Qawaid al-Fiqhiyyah
- Daruriyyat, hajiyyat and tahsiniyyat
- What to do if scholars differ in opinions (khilaf)
