“There are two qualities which are not found in the believer: miserliness and bad character.”(Sunan At-Tirmidhi 1962)
"And do not walk upon the earth exultantly. Indeed, you will never tear the earth [apart], and you will never reach the mountains in height."(QS 17:37)
Muslims must be extremely careful with their actions and reactions because whatever they do, they represent the deen, Islam. Kindness and compassion are the basic commitments of a Muslim.
“The one who guides others to goodness will have a reward like that of the one who does it.”(Sahih Muslim 1893)
Inviting others to righteousness, moderation and balance are the best things in a Muslim behavior as well as in one's attitude toward others. A Muslim thanks Allah SWT for all His gifts. For everything, the ultimate praise is for Allah SWT and the real glory belongs to Allah SWT alone.
Amr ibn Shuaib reported: His grandfather heard the Prophet(pbuh), say, “Shall I tell you about the most beloved to me and the closest to my assembly on the Day of Resurrection?” They said, “Yes, O Messenger of Allah.” The Prophet said, “Those with the best character.”(Musnad Ahmad 6696)
These are the principles of wisdom and the universal values of Islam. When they are followed, they bring justice, peace, and happiness in this world and they will indeed bring success and salvation in the Hereafter.
Wallahu'alam
