God's Justice is God's Mercy

"If Allah is really Merciful, why should He put people, whom He Created Himself, into Hell? How can you considered this as an act of Mercy?"

Allah SWT indeed describes Himself as the 'Most Merciful', but He also did gave fair warnings of Hell Fire in His Holy Scriptures. Allah SWT has created human beings with 'Moral Choice', meaning we are free to choose whichever type of moral behaviors we preferred. We can choose to Obey God and live our life at peace with Him and other people as prescribed in His Holy Scriptures, or we can disobey God and do wrong, and thereby destroy the lives of others on earth and incur His punishment. The choice is yours.

Allah SWT says in the Quran: "Nor can good and evil be equal..."(QS 41:34) and He asks: "Is there any reward for good other than good?"(QS 55:60).

If everyone is guaranteed Paradise no matter how he behaves, it is as if to say, "it doesn't matter what you do, go ahead and kill him, or rob him, or rape her, or slander and malign and lie and whatnot, your deeds have no moral value. Do your worst, and you will still have a wonderful reward".

Such a thing would be a negation of Justice, and Allah SWT describes Himself also as that. The fear of Hell therefore is a deterrent to some God fearing people which acts as a restraint on their wrong doing and thereby protects the innocents from their harms. Since Allah SWT knows everyone's hearts and intention, there is not the least cause to fear a miscarriage of Justice. If God punishes anyone, that person has indeed chosen Hell Fire for himself. The Quran says:

"Whoever does righteousness - it is for his own soul; and whoever does evil, does so against it. And your Lord is not ever unjust to His servants." (QS 41:46)

So you see, bad and evil are measuring yardstick for goodness. Using the analogy of shadow and light, a shadow is created by blocking the light. If the light, akin goodness is not block, there will be no rooms for shadow or bad and evil act to exist. Goodness like kindness, compassion magnanimous etc are only achievable by limiting the freewill God has given us. Total freewill implies the choice between Good and Evil together with responsibilities.

If there's no choice to do bad, then the term 'freewill' ceases to exist. Therefore, freewill implies the necessity of existence of bad and evil. Just like the case of humanity forefather Adam and Eve(pbuh), they succumbed to the temptation of Satan due to their innocent as they had never heard a lie ever before and had never being cheated, and knowing this God accepted their repentance when they repent and forgave them (QS 2:36, 37).

Wallahu'alam
