Judging others makes us blind. By judging others we blind ourselves from our own evil. When you judge others, you do not define them, you define yourself. When hatred judges, the verdict is always guilty. Remember that the best in the sight of Allah is the one who fears Allah and is conscious of Him. The Prophet (pbuh) said that ALL of the children of Adam make mistakes! Who are we to judge them?
Every sinner has a future and every righteous person has a past , Allah does not judge you on how bad you have been in the past, rather he looks at on how good you strive to be now. Do not judge, or you too will be judged. The Quran says:
"O you who have believed, when you go forth in the cause of Allah, investigate; and DO NOT say to one who gives you [a greeting of] peace "You are not a believer," aspiring for the goods of worldly life; for with Allah are many acquisitions. You [yourselves] were like that before; then Allah conferred His favor upon you, so investigate. Indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted."
"Wahai orang-orang yang beriman, apabila kamu pergi pada jalan Allah, maka hendaklah kamu menyelidik (apa jua perkara dengan sebaik-baiknya), dan janganlah kamu mengatakan kepada orang yang menunjukkan kepada kamu sikap damai: "Engkau bukan orang yang beriman" dengan tujuan hendak harta benda kehidupan dunia. Janganlah kamu gelap mata kepada daki dunia itu kerana di sisi Allah ada disediakan limpah kurnia yang banyak."
"Demikianlah juga keadaan kamu dahulu, lalu Allah mengurniakan nikmatNya kepada kamu. Oleh itu selidikilah (apa-apa jua lebih dahulu, dan janganlah bertindak dengan terburu-buru). Sesungguhnya Allah sentiasa memerhati dengan mendalam akan segala yang kamu lakukan."
(QS 4:94)
