Wahabi

Inilah cara permainan media, inilah cara mereka nak wahabikan seorang ulama Mufti. Mereka akan ketengahkan pendapat2 khilafia ulama itu supaya ia dapat dijadikan bahan untuk dikecam dan dikeji oleh masyarakat Islam tempatan yang kurang arif dalam bidang ilmu Usul al-Hadis, Usul al-Fiqh dan Maqasid Syariah.

Pandapat Mufti ini mengenai pembahagian kutipat Zakat kepada asnaf Muallaf dan Non Muslim adalah berdasarkan kepada beberapa Hadis Ahad yang menyatakan Rasulullah SAW dan para Sahabat ra pernah berbuat begitu melalui pertimbangan Qawaid al Fiqhiyyah. Dan juga kaedah penafsiran ayat2 Quran, contohnya QS 9:60, 89:17-19, 76:7-9, 2:177, 2:83.


i) Pendapat Mazhab Malik juga menyatakan keharusan memberi Zakat kepada non muslim.

"The view of the Malik schools of jurisprudence is that it is lawful to give Zakat to non-Muslims. It will make them well disposed to Islam and that they will not side with the enemies."(http://www.szic.pk/journal/dec2014/7.pdf)

ii) It is reported by Abu ‘Ubaid from Said bin al-Musayyab: ‘The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) gave charity to the families of Jews, since it is permitted for them.” (Abu ‘Ubaid, al-Qasim bin Salam, Al-Ammah, Cairo, 1969, p. 804).

iii) Imam Muhammad, the pupil of Imam Abu Hanif has reported that the Prophet (S.A.W) sent some property to the people of Mecca to be distributed among the people during the period of famine. They were idolaters(harbi) and were engaged in fighting against Muslims. The Dhimmis are far better than them.

iv) Caliph ‘Umar also took a poor Jew to the Bait al-Mal and ordered the official to fix maintenance for him and the other people of his kind. Umar bin al-Khattab, while returning from Damascus, saw some Christian lepers. He ordered that they should be given charity and stipends from the public treasury.

Tetapi, oleh kerana ramai muslim tempatan yang tidak mempunyai ilmu dan kefahaman dalam kaedah ilmu berijtihad ini, mereka akan mengecam dan mengutuk ulama ini dan melabel beliau dengan pelbagai gelaran2 yang buruk termasuklah gelaran wahabi.(seperti komen dalam ruangan komen article ini).

Allah SWT berfirman:
"...janganlah pula kamu panggil-memanggil antara satu dengan
yang lain dengan gelaran yang buruk sesudah ia beriman..."(Surah al-Hujurat. ayat 11)
